about
The On The Run Foundation is dedicated to empowering at-risk Black children and youth through a comprehensive support system. We provide essential resources and services aimed at nurturing their holistic development. Our programs include after-school study support, sports camps fostering resilience and self-esteem, and culturally relevant mental health resources. We offer financial literacy programs tailored to Black youth, employment services, and guidance in educational pathways. Additionally, our music and literary creation workshops provide a safe space for creative expression while honing writing skills. At On The Run, we believe in equipping young individuals with the tools they need to thrive academically, emotionally, and socially, ensuring they have the resources to pursue their dreams and "run" towards a brighter future.
Our organization was founded amidst the challenges of the 2020. Over time, we've developed a range of impactful programs tailored to their needs, fostering growth and resilience. Originally established as a community association, we recently took the crucial step of registering as a nonprofit organization in order to better serve our mission. This milestone ensures our access to vital resources, enabling us to provide even more robust support for the children and youth we passionately serve.
